Director, Bearings & Power Transmissions

LOCATION

INTRODUCTION

The Director, Bearings & Power Transmissions (BPT) and Canada Divisions is responsible for leading supplyFORCE’s MRO and Safety strategy and growth initiatives, driving the success of the division through both direct activities and through coordination with other departments (sales, pricing, and operations). The Division Director is measured primarily upon growth and revenue generation but is also responsible for non-direct revenue related activities.

  • Works with the Account Executives, Business Development, and supplyFORCE Members to identify and pursue new business opportunities to include being a team member in the RFP Process Strategy and assist where needed in closing the sales.
  • Leads the Division’s Steering Committee developing and executing the division specific strategic initiatives.
  • Develop metrics for and tracks performance of key stakeholders (IMPACT Suppliers Partners)
  • Provides support and growth for IMPACT partners; defines best partners and leverages industry contacts to best position supplyFORCE for improved margin and growth.
  • Organizes and leads Member Quarterly Business Reviews to report on Strategy, Divisional goals, and progress.
  • Identifies geographic service gaps and develops potential solutions.
  • Represents supplyFORCE at key industry meetings and serve as the lead Affiliated Distributors (AD) aligned division liaison.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to create and oversee the execution of a Marketing Plan for your Division complete with content, calendar, events, and alignment with pipeline and sales objectives.
  • Resolves Channel issues as escalated.
  • Negotiates manufacturer participation and revenue support for supplyFORCE National Sales Meeting and other sponsored events.
  • Provide consistent high levels of external and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Handles any other corporate duties and/or projects, as assigned, for the benefit of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Office tools, Outlook, and Internet navigation.

Deliverables

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of sales and/or sales management experience on a regional or national level
  • Extensive knowledge of MRO and Safety Solutions and their market drivers.
  • Extensive industry supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of distributor/vendor roles and relationships.
  • Ability to travel throughout a large territory.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
