E-Business Administrator

LOCATION

INTRODUCTION

The E-Business Administrator is responsible for ensuring the proper setup and operation of trading partner eBusiness solutions, including catalog operation, transaction support, and data extraction. This role works closely with the ERP, EDI, and Data Management and BI teams. User experience, new functionality, and continuous improvement will be the focus going forward.

  • User Administration of the E-Business Catalog platform
  • Manage content taxonomy using industry attributes and standards.
    • Work closely with Data team, EDI team, & Microsoft Dynamics ERP team to define required data/data standards, maintain item consistency and data synchronization between internal and external systems.
  • Configure, Test, and Debug punch-out catalog connectivity and experience from multiple clients direct or through third-party procurement portals (Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
  • Continuously improve the functionality and integration of the E-Commerce platform to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of and provide training on new and future functionality of catalog, content, and UI/UX environment.
  • Travel to trading partner sites to support Client and partner initiatives.
  • Maintain and create comprehensive documentation which will include work instructions, configuration information, and training materials.
  • Overnight domestic travel between 10% and 25%.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with Web Catalog platform administration in an OCI and cXML Punch-Out environment
  • Operating knowledge of EDI (ANSI X12) standards and document types
  • Understanding of API usage to extract data from client systems.
  • Experience managing PIM (Product Information Management) tools.
  • Expert understanding of cXML standards in a punch-out environment
  • Experience and understanding of applicable standards/protocols: cXML, EDI, API, JSON, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, queries, reporting, integration features, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
