Helpdesk Administrator

LOCATION

INTRODUCTION

The Helpdesk Administrator is responsible for all client and network technology solutions. This includes the design, implementation, administration, and support across both the hardware and software needed for end-to-end delivery.

  • Provides primary support for all:
  • client hardware (laptop, desktop, smart phones, etc..)
  • client software (MS Office, E-Mail/Outlook, SharePoint, etc..)
  • Provides primary support for all:
  • Network hardware used in the sF offices (routers, hubs, switches, etc..)
  • Helps to manage any third-party hosting providers (client, network and server)
  • Understanding of M365 Admin portal
  • Supports local and remote end-users across the client and network architecture
  • Provides backup and recovery services for any non-hosted data
  • Responsible for client and network security (in coordination with the hosting providers)
  • Examples include virus protection, patch management, spam, etc..
  • Manages all client licenses (software compliance)
  • Assures maximum uptime of company network
  • Maintains an asset database for all IT assets

Deliverables

Experience

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Helpdesk Administrator in a Windows environment
  • Proficient in client hardware and software; including all MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in network and server protocols, TCP/IP, LDAP, etc

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in related field, or relevant work experience
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
