Project Manager

INTRODUCTION

The Project Manager works in a team environment with the VP, Channel + Strategy and members of other departments to implement and manage the transaction sets associated with the various order flows between customers, supplyFORCE and its distributor network.

  • Project Management
    • Manage all customer-related project plans and report back to VP of Operations: driving all onboarding of new customers to completion.
    • Manages transition of accounts from one business model to another.
    • Responsible for interfacing with all customers, Sales, IT Dept., Pricing Dept., Procurement Dept., Accounting/Finance Dept. for all business-related solutions
    • Manages all related time requirements to ensure efficient customer onboarding.
    • Manages the existing and future state of all customer business solutions.
    • Manages all Corporate Projects that are maintained within Microsoft Project.
  • Web Catalog
    • Assists Catalog manager in all customer-related activities.
    • Leads/Assists in all customer training activities.
    • Assists with all current/future catalog developments and setups.
  • Electronic Data Interchange
    • Supports IT resources in developing customer solutions related to EDI, XML, etc.
    • Leads/Assists in coordinating customer/van/sF resources needed to achieve the desired solution.

 

  • Customer Service
    • Coordinates customer-specific processes with Procurement Manager, Catalog Manager, and Field Sales Team.
    • Develops customer-specific reporting needs and coordinates with related departments as necessary.
    • Assists Procurement Manager in related catalog order processing as the need arises.

 

  • Handles any other corporate duties and/or projects, as assigned, for the benefit of the organization

Experience

  • E-commerce background within a business-to-business environment
  • History of successfully managing complex customer integration projects from inception to completion promptly
  • Two or more years of experience working in a customer onboarding/customer integration role
  • Significant Project Management experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
